Sometimes I photograph the family of my sister's bestest friend. (Even though I was an annoying pesty little sister for many a year!)

Sometimes we start talking about doing family photos 2 years before they finally happen.

Sometimes people have a perfect property for family photo shoots.  Even if it means standing by a road with cars driving by.  It's even better when the people in those cars can't see me (they can only see my models standing all clumped up together in their front yard).

Sometimes I put girls in trees, on porch railings, against fences, standing, sitting, facing towards me, facing away from me and attempt poses that require pretzel like bending all while constantly battling buzzy little gnats.  (You had fun, right ladies?)
